Doggy Brunch inspiration

Have you ever taken your lovely hound to a doggy brunch?

If not I “Lazy Mick” the awesome rescued greyhound highly recommend you do so.

Normally my Saturday follows the same pattern (I walk, I rest, I walk again, I rest) as my owners are both busy working and making noise on our boat and I am trying to rest and not be distressed by the noise they are making.

Last Saturday was a magically day when my owner dressed my sister and I up and took us for a walk. I was confused because Katka would normally not take us out again only 2 hours after our first morning walk.

We were heading toward the park when suddenly she turned left and we entered a local restaurant Straight + Narrow.   It was all beautifully decorated, full of our four legged friends from the local park and two Santa helpers were greeting us on our way in.

I was immediately excited having spotted the doggy menu on the table that was offering the  following delicacies :

Omg I was shaking from excitement and wanted to have one course after the other without any break.  It was simply delicious.

The food was designed by the marvellous Anna Webb who also did an amazing talk on Nutrition and explained to Katka why she should consider feeding us on raw food (yes please).

After the food there was a raffle, pictures with Santa and chat with other dogs.   We werent allowed to leave "messages" indoors though.

It was buzzing and everyone was very happy and relaxed.

We helped raise money for the All Dogs Matter charity which we know will make a difference.

Overall it was a fantastic Saturday organised by Canary Woof and I am inviting other dog owners to get inspired and organise similar fun for their hounds.
